Listing Requirements for ITE Installed in Computer Rooms

The National Electrical Code (NEC), ANSI/NFPA 70 considers information technology equipment (ITE) installed in ITE rooms—more commonly called computer rooms—as special equipment. As described in Section 90-3, chapters 1 through 4 serve as the base requirements for special equipment except as further amended by chapters 5 through 7.
