Safe behavior does not just happen. It is learned when it is shared and practiced. I am Safety Smart! is designed to support educators nationwide in teaching safety-conscious behavior. Professionally trained electrical inspectors will share Safety Smart lessons with children 4 to 14 years old and help them develop life safety skills.
Spike, a cartoon character, teaches the younger children seven vital home safety lessons.
Hands-on experiments demonstrate safety lessons to the older children.
