James (Jim) E. Maldonado, IAEI International Fifth Vice President, passed away suddenly on October 29, 2011.

“Support AFCI Safety” was created to educate homeowners, electrical contractors, home builders, state code adoption panels and others about the fire-prevention and potentially life-saving benefits of installing arc fault circuit interrupters (AFCIs) during new home construction.
IAEI is now offering a student membership discount. This will en-able students to become familiar with the electrical industry before they graduate and to network with other industry professionals who could enhance their job searches. $78 per year.
The International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI) announced that its board of directors has named David E. Clements to serve as the company’s chief executive officer and executive director.
Former IAEI International President George Flach passed away in August 2009. He faithfully served the electrically industry in a variety of roles, and was known as an industry icon.
