Locally, the Energy Division provides code compliance review of power generating facilities. You will be reviewing the projects from project inception all the way through design and construction. The type of facilities that you will be reviewing, vary from complex combined-cycle natural gas power plants, to state of the art renewable power plants, such as wind turbine and solar.

Essential Functions:
Review complex commercial, industrial and residential drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with current codes and standards.
Review substantially complex technical reports, calculations and studies.
May be asked to provide primary pint of contact with clients, translating their needs into the appropriate client maintenance and retention activities.
May assist in client acquisition and promotional activities including the preparation of proposals and statements of qualifications, oral interviews and marketing promotions.
May make occasional field inspections to ensure that construction is in conformance with applicable codes and regulations.
Job Qualifications and Requirements: Must be a California licensed Engineer, or willing to obtain State of CA registration
At least 5 years experience performing commercial, industrial and residential plan reviews
