Article 1: I’m sure that all of you at one point or another have asked
yourselves what is a manufactured wiring system. Well, maybe not all of you, but most of you…right? Well maybe not most, but some of you have... OK, so a couple of you have asked that question. The Code rules for manufactured wiring systems (MWS) are found in Article 604 and are quite easy to apply once you determine that, in fact, what you are looking at is a MWS.

Article 2: I remember the time when my grandmother’s home had a string from a lampholder on the ceiling of the bedroom run over to the door to cut on the light. In the master bedroom, two strings were used—one to the door and one to the wall beside the bed. Now that was "Up-Town!"

Canadian Code: Rules for Electrical Utility Supply

CSA International’s Corporate Audits and Investigations Group has investigated several fires over the years that were apparently caused by improperly installed electric sauna heaters. Most of the fires investigated were in residences; however, a few incidents occurred that involved commercial saunas.
