IAEI Arkansas Chapter Meetings

The Arkansas Chapter of the IAEI will be holding a series of training meeting at various Arkansas locations on the requirements from the State of Arkansas Electrical Examiners regulations and on the 2017 NEC Analysis of Changes, as well as other articles of the NEC. These events typically consist of 8-hour days with a 1 hour lunch break. 8am - 5pm each day. Refer to the IAEI Calendar for address and more.

May 11, 2019 - 2017 NEC Analysis of Changes

The Arkansas Chapter invites electricians, electrical engineers and inspectors to attend this May course. This is an extensive and popular program analyzing the major changes to the NEC for the 2017 code cycle. Members of the nineteen NEC code-making panels contributed to the development of the IAEI authoritative text that is a basis for this course. This seminar covers more than 250 of the most significant changes and includes interpretations by the group that enforces the Code. The presentation will be loaded with illustrations that clearly identify and explain the changes. Attendees will receive 8 hours of technical instruction.

2017 Code Adoption

The State of Arkansas Department of Labor announced the adoption of the 2017 NEC with Arkansas Amendments on 9/19/2017 with an effective date of 1/1/2018. More details
