This training consists of a total of 8 hours of continuing education. It is open to all IAEI members and any inspector, electrician, engineer or contractor who wishes to attend.

The program topic is Analysis of Changes, NEC-2017, touching on changes to all chapters: General Requirements; Wiring and Protection; Wiring Methods and Materials; Equipment for General Use; Special Occupancies, Special Equipment, Special Conditions; Communications Systems.

Our classes are recognized through the IAEI and the State of Arkansas Dept. of Labor, Electrical Division for continuing education credits.

Arkansas Electrical Inspector Training 2019 (Day 2)

Sponsored by the Arkansas Chapter of the IAEI, the annual Electrical Inspector Training Classes consist of two days of training on the National Electrical Code, regulations of the Arkansas Electrical Board, and other topics.

Day 1 - Please contact the Arkansas Dept. of Labor, Board of Electrical Examiners office for Day 1 information.
Day 2 - Register with IAEI. Day 2 provides 8 hours of the 16 hours of electrical training required by the Arkansas Department of Labor. Your instructors will be Charles Covington and David Gray.

Available Dates and Locations

November 5-6 - Bentonville, AR - Northwest Arkansas Community College, 1000 SE Eagle Way, Bentonville, AR (Walmart Conference Room). Register and pay $50 for November 6. 8 am - 5pm

December 11-12 - Jacksonville, AR - Jacksonville Community Center, 5 Municipal Dr, Jacksonville, AR. Register and pay $50 for December 12. 8 am - 5pm

2017 Code Adoption

The State of Arkansas Department of Labor announced the adoption of the 2017 NEC with Arkansas Amendments on 9/19/2017 with an effective date of 1/1/2018. More details
