Why should anyone care about NFPA 70E or the NESC (and what the heck is an ANSI?)
Come learn about the scope and safety perspective of each of these important electrical Codes and special rules and gain an understanding of when they apply in the field. As more line-side construction is being done by Electrical Construction Contractors and inspected by the local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ), it is important that we become familiar with where the different Codes start, stop, and overlap. These are mandatory requirements for many agencies and appear more and more as requirements in approved plans and contract documentation. We will try to clarify the extent of AHJ responsibility for approvals. Specific examples and analysis will be included.
“So what?” you ask. “Why should we give a fig about all that stuff – we just have to get our inspection signed off – NOTHING ELSE!”
Come to this meeting and find out, or hope to be forgiven and blessed by good fortune. Good luck with that...
Bring a friend to help share this valuable information even more broadly.
