Tennessee Chapter Fall Meeting

Program: NEC Essentials
Date: November 9 & 10, 2018
Educational session times: Saturday 8:45am to 4:15 pm, and Sunday 7:45 am to 12:00 pm
Location: Double Tree Hotel, Old Fort Parkway, Murfreesboro, TN

Inspectors, Installers, Students, Supervisory personnel, and related persons in the electrical industry are invited to attend the IAEI Tennessee Chapter Fall Meeting which includes sessions on Inspection essentials for One- and Two-Family Dwellings, to include essentials crossing NEC time from 2008 to 2017. Instructors will be Jeffrey Fecteau, Sr. Regulatory Engineer at UL and IAEI member, and Bill McGovern, Intertek. Attendees will receive 10 hours of technical instruction overall.

Job Opportunity

The City of Cookeville, Codes Department is accepting applications for the position of Electrical Inspector. Work performed in enforcing the electrical codes of the City for conformance standards for safety and use of building purposes. Enforces and interprets codes on housing, building, fire, plumbing, gas, electric and other related ordinances. High school education or equivalent, a valid TN driver’s license, ability to operate a personal computer, and exp in electrical and building construction are required. Must possess and maintain 2 certificates issued by Int’l Code Council or Int’l Assoc of Electrical Inspector for residential & commercial structures or electrical general.
