Quick Fact: The Michigan Electrical Code was updated in January 2019. The new adoption of the NEC-2017 covers everything other than 1- and 2-family dwellings. These dwellings are still covered under the Michigan Residential Code Adoption, which uses the NEC-2014. (Send us an update):

Reciprocates — Out-of-state corporations will not qualify for a contractor’s license unless they employ a sign specialist residing in the state of Michigan.
