Quick Fact: Local jurisdictions may adopt a building code by ordinance but may only include codes adopted by the Building Codes Bureau, including the currently adopted NEC. Jurisdictions that have not adopted the code, especially unincorporated areas, fall under the jurisdiction of the State Building Codes Bureau. (Send us an update):

RENEWAL DATE: 7/15
 
Units of timeContact Hours. Of the 16 hours, 8 hours must be about updates to the National Electrical Code for each year in the renewal cycle.
