Quick Fact: Electrical installations are inspected by municipal and county electrical inspection departments. All municipal and county electrical inspectors must be certified by the North Carolina Code Officials Qualification Board. Electrician, Unlimited, Intermediate, Limited, Residential Dwelling

HOURS REQUIRED:  8
CODE-RELATED: 8
RENEWAL CYCLE: Annual

RENEWAL DATE: Licensure date
 
Units of timeContact Hours. All 8 CE hours must be related to the National Electrical Code. Four of the hours must be an in-person course or seminar attendance.

Electrician, Special Restricted Contractors

RENEWAL DATE: Licensure date

Units of time — Contact Hours. All 4 CE hours must be related to the National Electrical Code. Two of the hours must be an in-person course or seminar attendance.
