Quick Fact: The Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC)is updated on a three-year cycle and must be complied with when constructing a new building, structure, or addition to an existing building. The updated codes must also be used when maintaining or repairing an existing building or renovating or changing the use of a building. (Send us an update):
License Renewal & CEU Requirements
Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician
HOURS REQUIRED: 15
RENEWAL CYCLE: Triennial
RENEWAL DATE: Licensure Date
Units of time — Contact Hours. All the 15 hours must be related to the National Electrical Code.
Reciprocates — Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts
